a lesson in shortening words aka being cool

alright alright so ive been using some words lately that some of you but most of you may not understand. hopefully my closest friends do considering that they have been using them too and that would be just silly to say words that you dont understand. so i compiled a list of words with their meanings and examples of how they would be used in a sentence. feel free to add any of your own.

perfect - perf
   example: holy cow his hair is so perf.

usual - (pronounced yousjuh) not quite sure how to spell it
   example: oh i havent been up to much. just the usje. (once again spelling this is weird.)

no big deal - nbd
   example: i hungout with garrett hedlund last night...nbd.

red velvets - red velvs
   example: yea i'll take a dozen red velvs.

obvious/obviously - obv
   example: i watch dirty dancing everyday obv !

totally - totes
   example: "did you buy the new land before time movie?" "you mean number 27? totes!"

sprinkles - sprinks
   example: "did you want sprinks on that dark chocolate cupcake?"

regular - reg
    example: i do yoga on the reg.

precious - presh
   example: that dress is so presh on you.

random thoughts on my unfocused day

yesterday i was at work extremely bored on my break and i thought of some random things to tell all of you. here goes:

-sometimes i wish i spoke multiple languages or that i could read lips.  that way whenever someone with an accent talked to me, i could understand them and not say "what?" repeatedly.

-have you ever noticed how adorable little children with accents are? especially little boys with british accents! i would move to england for the soul purpose that my children could be all the more cute with a little accent. AND you can bet that i would dress them up as a different harry potter character every halloween.

-i am ninety-seven percent positive i want to live in denver for the rest of my life. thats a big statement but i would love to own my own house in the cherry creek neighborhood.

-when i am able to buy my own house i want to have a cute little one story with a pretty front yard that has a big tree in it.

-i still would love to be a wedding planner. once i move away from arizona, i plan on moving to denver to do just that.

-has anyone ever noticed how amazingly good looking garrett hedland is? he is in the movie tron and in the movie country strong. my friend kristen told me about him the other day and HELLO he is the new secret celebrity crush of mine. dear garrett can we please meet some day? thanks.

 

-i finally started paying off my debt! im so excited. i have quite a bit to pay off but if i stay disciplined i will get it all paid in no time!

-a wall color for my room has been chosen. GREEN! im not sure when ill be painting it but obviously ill be putting pictures up when i do.

-miranda kerr is so incredibly gorgeous and she is married to orland bloom and they have a baby together. thats a whole lot of beautiful going on there.

good morning sunshines :] has anyone ever seen this blog?! it is so absolutely cute. if you've never seen it i recommend clicking here to get a better insight as to what its all about. every single little idea of her's i adore! she has so many diy projects and ideas. her online store is so amazing and i really hope to go visit her real store someday. maybe i will even open up something like this in a few years. wouldn't that be amazing? anyways. i just absolutely love her page. from all of the homemade crafts, to little recommendations, or her lists of things that she loves...so cute. it really helps give me a better focus for my blog as well.

anyways she has a blog course that she made online. its only $35 and i really, really would love it for christmas! if anyone would be so kind as to get it for me i would love you forever! it really gives amazing advice (from what i can see on the preview) as to create the best blog possible that has voice, originality, and focus. so there's an idea for what i want for christmas for anyone willing to get it for me ! the end !

fall/winter must haves so far

so these are just some of the things i wish to possess for the fall/winter season. sadly i have no money, but when i do, these are mine mine mine :] they're all from free people too! 

im loving FAUX fur coats and hooded coats, little dresses (obviously i need them for work too), oversized, printed sweaters, and just any oversized sweaters in general.

for fall/winter this year i need the following in my closet:

1. boots: uggs, knee highs, riding boots, etc.

2. cute flats: embellished, plain, bows, etc.

3. classy winter pea coats.

4. oversized sweaters.

5. faux fur.

6. tights.

7. stockings.

8. leggings.

9. skinny cargos.

10. little dresses.

11. studded earrings.

12. anything minnie mouse [of course].

13. leg warmers.

14. amazing JACKETS.

15. anything to layer, layer, layer.

rome - pictures to replace the words

i think today can only be expressed in pictures. pictures that may not even represent what im feeling. some, yes. some, i just love. so im going to add a few. some are quotes. some are photographs. i hope you feel something when you look at them. to put it plainly: at some point in time i will have felt, will feel, or am feeling all of these emotions and feelings stirred up in these pictures. i know that even though im not feeling like some of these at the moment, that i once did feel the way some of these depict.
i really hope to feel that again too. and i know i will. someday.

i know those last few sentences are repetitive. but sometimes things just need to be reitterated.

at some point in time i will have felt, will feel, or am feeling all of these emotions and feelings stirred up in these pictures.

Lasso - just some things i want...you know.

So I sat on UrbanOutfitters.com today to look at all the things that I love and want. I thought I would just share a few of them with you. I'm going to have to save my money for a while to be able to get them but I think all of these are very Kaileigh.

I love these cameras. I have been looking for a new one anyways and I really would love to get more into photography. Once I do I'll make sure to post photographs that I take on here. I think there is something so beautiful about capturing a moment inside of a picture. So I'll see what I can do and come up with. :)



I also love the Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz glasses. How cute are those? Those are two of my favorite movies. I actually need to go buy Wizard of Oz on dvd. I have Alice in Wonderland though.

The mint bag definitely reminds me of Mary-Kate Olsen circa 2003. She had a mint colored bag that I loved and so I definitely think I will get the mint color so I can break out of my black and white colored bag rhythm I seem to have gotten in the past few years. I think a colored handbag works wonders on an outfit, especially if you dress somewhat plain. It is just a bold statement that says "Hello! Here I am!" I love it :)



I really want the record player too. I love the colors of the box and how it looks vintage. I love records. I can't wait to get some vinyl of my own. I will feel even more like Ally from "The Notebook." "I'll Be Seeing You" by Billie Holliday, is a record I will need to make sure to get. It is my favorite song in the entire world. This record player is $160 though. Hello Christmas list!

The curtains I'm going to hang up in my room in Colorado. I move in October, hopefully the first week of October. I couldn't be anymore excited...I'll write about that later though. My room doesn't have a door however because its more of an office. It has a large opening, so I'm just going to hang up curtains to make it a room. So cute :) These cream colored ruffled ones I will hang up for sure and then I will make sure to get another set (one that's more plain or maybe something with a pattern so it doesn't detract too much from the pretty rufffles) to go underneath, or well on top depending on which side of the curtains you're on.

Anyways here is everything else I want!
